ABC Amazing Bangkok CyclistEXCELLENTVerified Relaxing authentic view of the city and some of its natural areas Very friendly, the tour involved, seeing some of the market and where the locals live in the city as well as the “Island” at the end of the city, which is very natural park area, other than the traffic being daunting very enjoyable. Nothing the guide can do about that he did a great job.Verified Fun getaway from busy Bangkok I, along with 3 co-workers, had some free time while we were in Bangkok so we scheduled some time for a bike tour. I don’t know which one we went on but it went through a massive fresh market, across a river in a boat, and through a nature preserve. We had a blast. Mr. Michiel led the tour and took us to a local restaurant for lunch. He was a great guide and we had a great time. We definitely saw parts of Bangkok you’d usually not see. I’d recommend this to anyone. The golden Buddhas of the Wats are magnificent, however cycling through the huge Khlongtoey 24-hour wet market, which caters to the city’s food businesses - then the friendly Khlongtoey neighbourhood itself, where 100,000 people live in an area of about 1.5 square km, on land owned by the Port Authority, felt like getting under the skin of the city.We took the bikes on the small ferry boat from Khlong Toei Nok Pier to the south side of the Chao Phraya River and the most surprising place of all - Bang Nam. Landing there, only minutes later, in what is another district of a different Thai province, is like emerging into a tropical forest. Densely green, full of fruit trees and palms and birdsong, this collection of villages just south of Bangkok at the mouth of the Chao Phraya River, is strictly protected and nicknamed Bangkok’s ‘Green Lung’. Our guide, Micheil, took the time (and immense patience) to introduce us to some Thai phrases and also local freshly made foods. He was incredible in his professionalism and care - without overly controlling our experience. And finally - wow. Micheil took fantastic photos of us, whilst cycling somehow. Great souvenirs to keep. Greetings were warm and friendly. Instructions for the ride were clear. Eddie was our guide for that day. Once we set out on our bikes he guided us through the backstreets, alleys, temples and markets and at the same time told us the history and stories of the neighborhoods we rode through. We crossed the river by ferry with our bikes and rode into the "green lung", the forested section of Bangkok formed by the curve of the Chao Phraya river. Eddie he took us through the small neighborhoods and found a small local place for us to have a fantastic lunch. We finished the day by navigating our bikes along the elevated walkways through the park and forest, spotting monitor lizards, marveling at the wildflowers and fruit and returning to the dock to catch the ferry back. Places where we could never even think of visiting on our own. He provided us with great stories, taught us Thai culture, and proper mannerisms. ABC Citytour Een Thailand vakantie begint vrijwel altijd in Bangkok. Jammer dat veel mensen slechts 1 á 2 dagen in deze geweldige stad verblijven. Om toch zoveel mogelijk van de stad mee te krijgen heeft ABC nu de Citytour. Een fantastische fietstocht door een geweldig stukje van Bangkok. Je bent slechts 2,5 uur onderweg en je komt op plekken die je zelf nooit kan vinden. Je fietst door kleine straatjes, langs het kanaal, over de versmarkt, door het Benjakitti park, enz.
